*All Nature Preserves and trails are now open.  However, due to significant damage from Harvey, The Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center is still closed.*

Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center

Spring Creek Greenway is a 12,000-acre conservation that stretches from US HW 2978 to US HW 59.

We provide the opportunity to educate our children and public about the ecosystems and environment. Montgomery County Precinct 3 has been actively involved in this project by providing educational services in partnership with Bayou Land Conservancy and other entities in order to help promote education to the present and future generations about the environment.

At our nature center located at 1300 Riley Fuzzel Road we have employees that teach and assist people who are eager to learn more about the outdoors. On site we have places for hiking, bird watching, fishing, exhibits, canoeing and education.

Come visit us Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to learn how you can become aware, help promote and actively engage with us in this project.

“Of all the questions which can come before this nation, short of the actual preservation of its existence in a great war, there is none which compares in importance with the great central task of leaving this land even a better land for our descendants than it is for us.”
― Theodore Roosevelt
